Mariposa Parent-Child Workshop is a cooperative preschool for children, 2-5 years old, and their parents and school- age homeschool enrichment program. Mariposa is designed for a diverse community of families with parents who want to be actively engaged in their child's preschool development. Guided by child-development professionals, parents are encouraged to explore with their child while simultaneously expanding their own parenting skills. By working and learning together cooperatively a true community is formed and, subsequently, a support system and social network. Mariposa Parent-Child Workshop is a program offered by About Familes, Inc.
